Dr. S. Berclin Jeyaprabha, Associate professor, EEE Department conducted hands-on session on PSIM software which is explicitly used in power electronics and motor drive applications was conducted for the UG and PG students of EEE Department on 11th February 2019. The students were exposed to various power converters and inverters and then, the application of PSIM software for solar photovoltaic system was taught with different examples using the special features like solar panel’s functional model and physical model. As the PSIM software can be used with multisim hardware facility and MATLAB software through Sim coupler for control operation.
